F102 Series (625 scfm – 20,000 scfm)
Van Air's F102 series coalescing filters

Van Air's F102 series coalescing filters remove contaminants from compressed air and gas systems. The F102 filters are designed with the inlet in the lower portion of the vessel where bulk liquids are knocked-out. Air or gas flows upward through Van Air elements where aerosols are coalesced and diverted to a secondary drain sump. Traditionally natural gas professionals refer to this design as a filter-separator.

F102 filters are available in 3" flange to 16" flange connection sizes and flow capacities from up to 20,000 scfm at 100 psig in 9 housings and 10 filtration grades. Housings are constructed of welded steel, built and stamped in accordance with the ASME code. Accessories include differential pressure indicators and automatic drain valves.

Features and Benefits

  • Flows 1,500 - 20,000 scfm at 100 PSIG
  • Standard maximum working pressure, 250 PSIG at 225°F
  • Maximum working pressures up to 1440 PSIG available at 225°F
  • ASME welded steel design
  • Oil aerosol removal down to .004 parts per million by weight
  • Particle removal down to .01 micron
  • Large reservoirs facilitate draining of coalesced liquids
  • Long-lasting elements reduce maintenance costs

Applications

  • Pre-filtration for desiccant and refrigerated compressed air dryers
  • Compressed air system protection
  • Natural gas compressor discharge
