Small Heatless Dryers (55-150 SCFM)
Van Air HLS Series heatless regenerative desiccant compressed air dryers are designed to protect pneumatic equipment and processes from the harmful and costly effects of compressed air moisture in mid-flow applications. HLS Series air dryers provide a low -40° or -100°F pressure dew point between 55 and 150 SCFM.
With no external heat source used for desiccant bed regeneration, Van Air HLS series heatless air dryers use tower pressure swing and a percentage of the dry air from one tower to regenerate the wet desiccant in the other tower.
Switching failure alarm with LED and remote contact allows immediate notification of any disruption of the operation cycle. The standard touch pad controller also features a membrane panel housed in a NEMA 4X enclosure which clearly displays dryer operation with LED indicators for each step in the cycle sequence. This allows for quick and easy monitoring of the compressed air dryer's performance.
All HLS series dryers come standard with a cycle hold feature, which preserves system pressure, conserves purge air and saves energy by automatically closing the purge exhaust valve when the compressor unloads or is on standby. The dryer returns to cycling when compressor flow resumes.
